I’m Thierry Bornier, an award-winning photographer and founder of China Photo Workshops.

I was born and raised in France. Since resigning from my job as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Shanghai in 2011, I have dedicated my life in photography to China. I have become a world-renowned specialist in the unique culture, ethnic minorities and diverse landscapes of this fantastic and fascinating country.

My photography workshops are not just about learning tips and techniques, taking you to beautiful places, then leaving you to your own devices. Each workshop is a complete travelling experience during which you will meet people, listen to their stories and learn about their traditions. By joining in these experiences, your photographs will be able to express new dimensions and perspectives as a result.
