Andrew Aveley - Wildlife Photography Guide

I am a passionate man, husband and father, born and raised in Africa. My main core values are honesty, respect and integrity and this drives me every day in whatever challenge or task I face.

I have developed my craft and visual story telling over the past 21 years, and love sharing my work with others, so they may experience the majestic wild african bush through my eyes. The many hours spent just embracing Wild Africa, where my heart and passion lies, has formed an essential part of this journey. Here learning more about the Landscape, Flora and Fauna has guided me to create unique pieces of visual art.

I love bending the light to create works of art and my understanding of the fundamentals of light in photography is what is used to tell these African Stories. Most of my pieces of have been created under the African Sky with only silent thoughts, the quietness of nature, the camera and the light.

The love of sharing personal knowledge of both camera craft and the African Bush with people, is something I cherish when given the opportunity to do so. Not only will they experience the African Bush in its intoxicating beauty, but they can find their inspiration, creative flair and grow in their own photographic journeys.

Nature can be an unpredictable canvas, but applying my creative flair, knowledge and camera to capture a moment, I can save this moment before its lost forever, drawing the viewer in, and sharing the story.
